I think its gonna fail cuz so much is expected and Apple cant possibly make a device that satisfies the public with such high expectations.

I hope so much, that they don’t make this based on games and music and useless programs, I want this for school and will be so angry if they just dump a bunch of useless applications and not focus on functions like an iWork or Microsoft Office and a writing or speech to text software.
It’s not suppose to be a toy for people, it’s suppose to be a business and learning tool for college and entrepreneurs.
I think apple will be incorporating some kind of new technology into their tablet which is going to again make them stand out from the crowd.

one thing though, some games will be nearly impossible to play on this.
that’s exactly why they are making the tablet – because everyone else failed.
I personally think you do not have a clue what you are talking about. the Apple tablet will be much different than people think, the same way the iPhone was much more than bozos like you predicted.

Also, ‘iSlate’ sounds incredibly lame. But then I thought ‘MacBook’ was lame (still do).
All of this speculation is based on rumours! Apple haven’t said anything. What happens if at the end of the month, they announce something completely unrelated, like a new home media player?
I just don’t see any reason why Apple would make a tablet PC, especially when they have the iPhone and iTouch. Tablet PCs just don’t work very well – PC makers have been trying to make them work for years (remember Origami?).
